I don't believe in God, but I do believe in fate.Everything we do from the second we wake to the minute we go to sleep affects everything else we do from then on. The man you pass in the street may well one day be your husband, that person you were nasty to once may soon be your boss. What if you hadn't missed that bus yesterday? What direction would your life be taking today? What if you had got that promotion and moved to London, where would you be now, who would you be with?
The questions are endless...
If I hadn't left uni at 19 I would have never become an estate agent.
If I had never become an estate agent I'd never have met Mike.
If I'd never have met Mike I'd never have met Darren.
If I had never met Darren I'd never have gone to Blackpool.
If I'd never gone to Blackpool I'd never have met Gavin.
If I had never met Gavin... well who knows!
The funny thing is if I hadn't left uni I'd never be at uni now doing what I love.
Someone I know was once supposed to go to America. He had wanted to go to Chicargo and New York all his life so when a friend asked him to go he jumped at the chance and couldn't be more excited. Once in Chicargo they were to get an inter state flight to New York.
As the day approached the two friends had a big argument, not the little sort like 'that was my last Rolo your thieving pig' I mean a big hum dinger! In the end he decided not to go as the row could not be resolved. So he sat at home instead.
One morning he was sat watching the news. The main story was of a plane crash in New York.
The date was September 11th 2001.
The plane he should have been on was the first to hit the World Trade Centre.
He should have died that day but fate had another plan. If he had died that day I'd never have met him and if I had never have met him I'd never have met Darren. If I had never met Darren I'd never have gone to Blackpool. If I'd never gone to Blackpool I'd never have met Gavin.
I believe our life is mapped out for us, we may stumble from the path at times but something will eventually lead us back on our way.
'Every choice we make And every road we take
Every interaction Starts a chain reaction
We're both affected When we least expect it
And then we touched And it all connected'
Every interaction Starts a chain reaction
We're both affected When we least expect it
And then we touched And it all connected'

I too believe everything happens for a reason, sometimes its just a little tricky working out what those reasons are!...but we usually get there in the end.
